Recorded from Autumn to Winter of 2014-15, Dance of Remembrance is a collection of 10 songs about leaving, uncertainty, comfort, memory, and coming back, by New Jersey songwriter Seán Patrick Eckmann, recording under the pseudonym Waiting on the Dawn. He is accompanied musically by a number of cherished friends, and is inspired by artists like Sufjan Stevens, Allo Darlin', and Neutral Milk Hotel.
When he's not making music, Seán enjoys Thai food, driving, and looking at maps. He dislikes cold weather, military dictatorships, and global warming. He finds comfort in Jesus, tea, and knowing that in the future he will only have to worry about cold weather OR global warming.
